While it is a requirement for leaders and adult volunteers to have their Youth protection Training Complete; we do ask that parents and/or any adult that will be attending camp outs, field trips or any other scout related activities with the child take the Youth Protection Training as well. There is a lot of good information in this for protecting your children and yourself as a matter fact and it's required for having what we call two deep leadership (two adults over the age of 21 are required) whenever we do anything with the scouts.

  • Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers and is a joining requirement.
  • Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered.
